What is the Barcelona Card Family? The Barcelona Card Family is the official Barcelona Turisme tourist card for families with children. One card per person gives free, fast-track entry to 13 Barcelona attractions — including Barcelona Zoo, Tibidabo Amusement Park, CosmoCaixa and L'Aquàrium de Barcelona — plus unlimited travel on the metro, bus, tram, suburban trains and Montjuïc funicular, and discounts at more than 20 further venues. It runs for 72, 96 or 120 consecutive hours from the moment you first use it. A 72-hour card costs €112 for an adult and €72 for a child aged 4–12; children under 4 go free and need no card.

Is the Barcelona Card Family worth it?
Worth it if…
You'll visit at least three or four of the 13 included attractions and use the metro daily. At €368 for two adults and two children over 72 hours, the card has to replace roughly €90 of tickets and travel per person to break even — the zoo, Tibidabo, CosmoCaixa and the aquarium get you there, with the unlimited transport on top.
Probably not if…
Your list is Sagrada Família, Park Güell and Casa Batlló. None of those are included — they are Barcelona's most-booked sights, but they sit outside this card. Nor is it worth it for a short stay with one or two attractions: at €112 per adult, a T-casual travel card and individual tickets will come out cheaper.

Order from the official Barcelona Turisme shop before you travel. One card per person.
2. Collect the card
Pick it up at a Turisme de Barcelona information point — the airport terminals, Plaça de Catalunya, Sagrada Família, Plaça Espanya or the Colón Viewpoint.

The clock starts at the first attraction or venue you enter, not when you buy or collect.
